The Ongoing Process

So I recently read a book called The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. In this book, there is a quote that goes something like this:

The story is about two cancer patients who have little time to live. One of the patients is more terminal than the other. He has a lesser number of days to live. What the author writes is that numbers are infinite. The numbers between 1 and 2 are infinite. They are all infinities. However, the infinity of this patient is smaller than the rest of us. Hence, the quote, "Some infinities are bigger than other infinities"

I want to incorporate this idea by showing an ongoing process in a city. Being in Mumbai at present, this idea fits. It is known as 'The city that never sleeps"
